Milo's fine, he's just snuggled up in bed.  He always just goes a bit lazy during calimas - don't we all?  It's Archie that suffers with laboured breathing and a little sneeze/cough during calimas, always has, poor boy.

Strange weather at Buenavista today.  There was a hot fog that lasted all morning.

I was dragging a golf trolley up and down the course in 100% humidity and 28C.  The sea was wild - waves crashing and banging against the rocky coast.

Next time take this when you go golfing in 30c.  .

You can let the fan blow on you while you're on the green .

Despite 36 degrees at home, it was much cooler in Alcalá, probably the 25-28 they predicted.  So we ran the race.  Pleased to say I was overtaking men and women much younger than I am all the way through and was happy with my time.  So was OH. 

What was really lovely was getting to the venue, getting numbers, checking my bag, listening to the loud music, watching men, women and children frolicking, doing the run, and waiting in the finish area having collected my bag, while everyone continued to frolic and the music continued to blare.  Everyone happy and safe, the way a race is supposed to be.  Today I did not take it for granted and soaked it up.

Back home, it's still 32 degrees.  But we have cold cava!

I just had to go up on the roof, it's horrible!  I can't breathe out there!!!  We've had all the windows shut today with the fan on inside.  I'm coughing even in here though

I remember one bad calima when I was there. I could smell and taste it. Euuggh!
