One feared dead as two are recoved from sea behind Puerto Santiago's Barceló hotel

I have a guy here in Balcon fixing my boiler. He says 3 dead. Have they found another one?

That's great that he's turned up early. They seem to be checking the rocks behind Crab island now.

@Michael no, they haven't found another one. Two are dead, bodies recovered, and they believe another one was swept away ... some reports say two but they're focusing now on one, so it's not clear if the "other one" has since been found alive and well or whether it was an initial wrong report. One is missing ... the presumption, of course, is that they are looking for a body rather than to rescue someone still alive.

I'd think they would want to clarify if and how many are missing.  They really are going all out with the search and recovery.

The helicopters disappeared around three hours ago.  I'd sure like to know if somebody really is missing or not, and am hoping NOT.

yes one person is missing, the confusion was about whether there was one or two. The land teams are remaining on site because they expect the current to bring the body into shore.

I was down there this afternoon and the waves were rough where they hit the shore.

I don't know if this is the pool they were in or not but when the big waves hit it it was totally swamped. It disappeared completely.

There have been no helicopters this morning and I have not seen the boat.

@Myrtle Hogan-Lance  no, they discontinued air and sea searches yesterday. Land only searches now because they expect the body to be washed up on the shore.
