Well then I suggest looking up when you walk around because it was very visible from Las Galletas today!!!  Also saw on the Spanish TV news that the cable car was closed due to wind.

It must have been too cloudy to see as I rushed to work at 8 o'clock this morning and when I scurried home this afternoon I was facing the wrong way...  For the eight hours in-between I couldn't even see the sky, let alone the snow on Teide 

It looks like it's melted now though.  I can see Teide clearly but there is no snow on it

No thanks - had enough of a taste on the Valle de Arriba walk Saturday.

Seartainly the first half hour of the walk was terrible .

That was really stupid of me, turning up with neither jacket nor hat. I've thawed out now.
