And across the complex, sitting outside in a howling gale, are what we have dubbed "The Russki Bros" because they have to be from Siberia.  They are out in shorts.  Period.  One of them has been out in shorts from daybreak to sunset every day for over a week.  He sits in shorts and smokes.  When I was staring out before taking the dogs out at 0730 yesterday morning, he was out in his shorts smoking.

@Michael, 4 below Accordion Man.  The palm trees may obscure your view.

The winds have died down considerably over the last couple of days and the DGSE has lifted its alert for coastal phenomena. Care is still needed in the sea, which is technically cold especially at this time of year, and it is still not as calm as it might be. The next few days should be cool and cloudy, and as some compensation, the National Park authorities have released this lovely picture of the heavy hoarfrost in the Teide caldera over this last weekend.

07:20 EasyDeath out of Manchester. We've been forecast fog overnight.....Anything more than an hour delay and I won't get there in time to get a few bets on the nags in Sandy's....

My poor missus. It must be like going away with Andy Capp    :giggle:
