A tad warm up here today. How are you getting on @Marion ?

Stayed in all day @Michael . My apartment is quite cool during the day as the sun doesn't come in till about 4.

Cooked up a storm though. A great big pan of pork, chorizo, tomato, garlic, onion, carrots and mushrooms. Will freeze what's left and will do us for quite a number of dinners. Was a bit hot after all the chopping though.

Aha!! I had the jar out the cupboard ready to add them but decided to keep them for a future dinner when I defrost some.

It might have seemed like summer had arrived early a week or so ago, but the calima which made temperatures soar has been replaced by a rather dull spell over the past several days. Meteorologists think, however, that a system coming in from the Atlantic could bring some wet weather from Thursday. It won't be cold, at least, but wet and warm weather will make it quite muggy – very muggy, some are saying. There will be more updates over the next few days, I'm sure.
