High winds and a few spits in the west.

We had the winds earlier but it's eased off now.  No rain though

Its been a funny day all in all. Started out quite warm. Then what was almost an April shower, cleared up then about 7pm it kicked off. Now it's a medium strength storm!

Spits since late afternoon but absolute gales tonight ... electricity's gone off five times, only for between a few seconds and about 5 minutes but off all the same!

Meteolamatanza is showing images of snow on Teide. They don't think it'll settle because of the high winds but we'll have to see how it develops overnight.

If there's snow on the peak tomorrow I'd really appreciate a photo from anyone who can .....

I agree it's to wet and windy for any snow to settle. But if there is any I will send you a photo on the mountains at the back of us.

I spoke too soon!  The wind is picking up again and my windows are rattling with it!

Saw pictures on FB there is snow on Teide , or it was nowing ?
