He mentioned he did 20 km the other day. I had no idea how far I could get, so didn't feel confident going with somebody who can walk twice as far twice as fast. I worked out a route which had no paths, and planned an estimated 3 hours, but did 4 hours because I got lost. That and crippled with cramps on the way back. He would have been bored, waiting for me to catch up. However, I now have a 3-hour circular walk worked out if he is interested. Et tu, Myrtlu? (What's the vocative ending of Myrtle?)

No clue Periklu.  My bathroom has to be completed first, no matter what.  He, or both of us, would be very happy to do your route.

I'm seriously worried now.  All the clothes I wear are hanging outside on the drier and are absolutely saturated.

And I need them to be in a suitcase in the next 48 hours...

Tumble dryer?  Who has a tumble dryer in Tenerife???    I can put them back in the washing machine for a no-spin rinse.  At least they'd come out drier than they are right now

No, mine just washes.  Fingers crossed for a couple of hours of sunshine tomorrow so my stuff can stop dripping....

I gave up on my sheets which were outside during 22mm of rain and put them in the dryer.

I was pleasantly surprised when I was out today to see Teide covered in snow.  Quite majestic.

Im starting to have a dry trought .
I see its going to be a bit cooler on tuesday , is it the end then  . . . .
I loved the bit of rainy days we had few weeks ago more and it was good for my plants , they also are suffering now I see with all the dry wind .
