you and me both, poker, it's now making me feel like I have laryngitis, and I have constant sinusitis, and the fluctuations in the humidity level between really very low and absolutely too fucking low are setting my arthritis off ...

HAD ENOUGH ...

but the forecasts I've seen show a mini heatwave next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ... I just hope they're wrong!

Nova

Me too!  My throat, nose, lips are constantly dry and sore, and my nose is blocked as though I have a cold.  It's horrible.  I'm longing for fresh air..........
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

I didn't like to say.  :giggle:

But surely as calimas go this isn't the worst?

I remember one before when I could smell and taste the sand. I'm not getting any of that this time.  :undecided:

it's far from the worst ... the problem for me is that it's intermittent and has now gone on for over a week. That drives me nuts ...

Michael

It's the wind that drives me nuts.

I can't dry any washing in case my underwear ends up on someone's terrace in the San Remo and I was drinking a can of beer yesterday when the wind blew it clean off the table.  ::)

Just be grateful you aren't over here. We have had at least a week of rain, sometimes being driven in sheets sideways. Outlook for next week:-
Monday.   Rain
Tuesday.   Rain
Wednesday rain
Thursday.  Rain
Friday. Snow!!

Got back to UK Wed evening, since then unbroken sunshine and 15/16 deg, bit of a cool breeze but pretty nice really. And best of all no bloody Calima.

It's SPRING !!!!!!!!

Well,  two almond trees behind our house think so. They are in blossom.

Normally they only do this in the second or third week in January, after the bitterly cold** two weeks of winter in December. I guess they are confused because of the totally crap summer we have had.

**12 degrees centigrade

One of the almond trees on the road up the mountain was also blooming last week and I felt sorry for it.
