CANARIAN VS BAVARIAN - PART 2

Almost everybody loved Los Silos, and sang and danced along.  Well, almost everyone.

I'd like to point out that he was wearing earplugs at the same time.  Earlier I mentioned our waitress so this is a good time to point out that if you go to Oktoberfest, it is really handy to be able to lip read in Spanish. It doesn't matter how loudly you shout, she can't hear you and you can't hear her.

We all enjoyed the food - many different options for sausages and the Apfelstrudel was divine.  Perikles mentioned the sausages so in case you were in any doubt, here's how he felt about them.

Our band went round and round, playing with great gusto but again, not everyone was totally enamoured.

Due to the antics of other festival-goers, I spent the evening laughing uproariously.  There was a good mix of Canarian, Bavarian, and other folk, and the Canarians seemed as game as anyone to celebrate beer.  Naturally there were kids, babies and dogs in attendance. It is a pity we could not stay later but the volume really was taking its toll and all of us wanted to be able to hear today.  Still, I give it a thumbs up and recommend you go!

NAHOH

It certainly looked an interesting festival. Our local one is mainly real ales. It normally has loud music but you can hide at the back (nearer the beer ) and it's a lot quieter.

What I like best is by 8.30 the men let me through to the bar with just a smile and an excuse me from me. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the tight t-shirt and jeans.  :singing:

Roll on November.
I can't fly  :engel016:
