The Orvecame rally will take over east Tenerife's roads today and tomorrow. The full programme of starts, finishes and routes is HERE, and the map above gives the idea of the areas affected, and the areas to head for those who love to watch.

We're trapped in by this tomorrow, Ellie's mum and her partner come over early next week so we're a bit busy to go down and spend the afternoon, but i'm hoping to see a few from the roof terrace!

Our sleepy little road has come to life.

The rooftops are lined with people, our neighbours are blasting out the commentary and the sound of revving engines has filled the air.


If we hadn't spent most of the day painting the kennels we'd be down at the mirador on the edge of the Guimar valley, but we can see them fly past the other side of the barranco.
