Sorry to hear that @Marion; take care and hope it will improve soon.

We'll give a report on the event afterward.

Hope your ok @Marion and not in too much discomfort.

It's only painful when I move it. Or straighten it, or stand up.....

The report:

@Nova and @Janet and I went and while it was interesting, it was not what we expected.  It was full of kids who had been given balloons and they ran around getting underfoot.  There were too many shoe, sunglass and crappy clothes outlets.  We observed two sex shops which did not have as many customers as the estate agents; funny that.  There were several jewelry outlets with beautiful cut minerals and finished pieces which we admired.  No kitchen stores which was strange.  The sports outlets had no gear other than shoes  mostly.  The clothing places did not seem to have many discounts.

@Marion, you did not miss much and there was noplace to sit down like in a mall so you would have had to be on your feet and bad knee all the time and it would have not been enjoyable.

The buying report:  Janet bought a pretty ceramic pitcher and something from the breast cancer awareness stand.  Nova resisted temptation.  I bought two spools of thread (last of the big spenders), two pieces of glass jewelry and a 4m string of 576 outdoor lights made in Germany with a transformer and 8 settings for a mere €18.  Last of the big spenders me!  Balcón dwellers beware: I have the baddest lights going up for Xmas.  And we all got a pen/stylus courtesy of a company which provides waterproofing materials and shall be recommending them to everyone we know.

Verdict:  getting the free pen/stylus was worth the €1 entry fee.

Ah well, it wouldn't have been suitable for me and it doesn't seem to have been much that I've missed. I've still got my tummy bug, so I'd need to have called off anyway. Pity there wasn't much for you guys when you travelled all the way up there. I suppose at least you managed to catch up with each other.
