One diver who had a bit of luck! I'm given to understand this is in Tenerife waters, it's certainly Canarian waters ...

It certainly looks like a shark but I don't see why he had to hurt it.  Do we know if the shark survived?

I got the impression he reacted instinctively ... I think I would have too! No news about the shark though.

edit: just rewatched the video ... it had its bloody mouth open already to bite him!! ufff  :-X

I mean, what are the chances? Perfectly timed and clear filming and I would've thought that anyone in that position would not just carry on filming......it would be the last thing on your mind.......... :tiphat:

It looks to me like a GoPro strapped to his head.  I think carry on filming would be the default action.

I think it was going to have a munch on him and if it hadn't swum straight onto the speargun he would be missing some part of his anatomy!
