Tenerife local Christmas events programmes 2016-17

I've posted HERE about various Christmas events like the ice rink and the Nutcracker ballet, and posted a few individual events like THIS one about the Showroom Navideño in Las Galletas, but every year the councils unveil the official municipal programmes of events. And this Christmas La Orotava is the first to make an announcement of its Christmas and New Year 2016-17 programme of events, and Santa Cruz has also unveiled its own, which is HERE. I'll post other local programmes as they become available.

Puerto de la Cruz Ayuntamiento has announced that the town's grand switching on the Christmas lights will take place tonight at 7pm in the Plaza de la Iglesia Ntra. Señora de la Peña de Francia. That's the main Church in the square right in front of the Hotel Monopol in the centre of town just metres from the start of the San Telmo promenade.

Arona's Christmas programme in general has been published HERE, incorporated into its December cultural programme. There will also again be various activities with a Christmas theme specifically for children. These will be travelling around the different parts of the municipality between 4pm and 7pm in the following dates and places:
