I don't know how I made it to the doctor either except that my job depended on it.  I'm jealous of all this medical equipment you have!  When the doctor asked me if I'd had a temperature I had to say I didn't know  :D

You can pick up an Omron BP/pulse monitor at a farmacia.  Put the cuff on, turn it on, and press the button for it to take a reading.  Ditto a thermometer.  My advice is, go for a digital electronic one.  They have nice big digits and are much easier to read than the old mercury ones.  Plus you don't have to shake them down.

exactly the two things we have too.

....and no chance of crushing the bulb between your teeth by mistake, ending up with a mouthful of mercury :)

I have just about decided that Nova and I have survived the Spanish influenza.

HORRID HORRID HORRID STUFF.

Hope you're feeling better Nova.  This sucks.

It was bad, and when I went back to work i had to suffer the others telling me that they were ill too but they couldn't go sick because I already had.  If they had had what I had they couldn't have fucking made it into work regardless....   ::)

I'm still not 100%, still achy, still tired and still with the occasional bout of phlegm, but I'm very much better.  It's now 16 days since since my first symptoms.

How are you doing???

Better thanks.  I agree with you, anybody who had what we did was not going anywhere.  I had enough trouble standing up to find the loo.

From here on out it just takes time and will get better daily.
