It's hot and we have a thick calima.  My car showed 30 degrees most of yesterday!  The sea is very rough this morning but at least there's a relatively cool breeze down by the seafront.

It's so thick you cannot see Teno today.  Not very nice at all.  I got soaked through my clothes running an errand. 

Thank God I don't live in the UK anymore.

Oh it's hot here!!  We've been out to Las Galletas this morning and my car showed 27/28 degrees.  The sky is a gorgeous blue though as is the sea, but there's no sign of La Gomera behind the haze.

It's still desperately hot but we've had some blue skies today so I think the calima may be clearing!

I checked the Barcelona dust forecast centre some hours ago and we are set to be clear for days.  The humidity seems down gracias a dios.

It's the centre that monitors dust coming from Africa, part of the AEMET.  The best site I know for monitoring calimas.

Oh excellent, I didn't know about that! 

It's looking much better this morning, we can see La Gomera again!!

Cloudy and cool here in Valverde, El Hierro, and we had a rain shower early doors.
