Granadilla de Abona’s first cheese and wines fair

The very first artisan cheese and Abona wines fair is being held a week on Saturday, 20 April, in Granadilla de Abona's Mercado del Agricultor in San Isidro. Doors will be open between 11am and 2pm. JA

I'd love to go as these are good events but it is so cold in Granadilla I am not sure I can bring myself to go.

It isn't in Granadilla.
It's pretty near sea level. by the autopista.

That would depend on how far down the mountain you have to drive to get to the west coast. This is just along the motorway. No excuse.

Can't be bothered ........  now that's a good excuse.

Can you be more specific on its location?  On Google maps I got the address as Calle Antonio Alonso González, 9, 38620, which is at the bottom end of San Miguel.  In that sense you're right that it is much closer to the west and the autopista than Granadilla.  Warmer too.

No .....

when you google, it gives you the "San Miguel" agrimarket ... even though you've put in "Granadilla", and if you go to the Ayto link (which is all one can find for Granadilla agrimarket) there is nothing on the counci website showing where it is at all.  Not that they're hiding it, you know ... I imagine ...

The Granadilla (municipio) market is in San Isidro. I'm not actually certain where, but it is very near, if not directly on, the new junction for El Medáno and San Isidro ...

Found it ...

up the TF1 to the main San Isidro-El Médano junction. Take the El Médano road, and it's immediately on the left ...  it's the red building with the apex roof and with the red cross place behind.

Okay!  Now the question is can I be bothered?  I do like these events.

Can't go.  Have signed up for a race at 18.00 that day so trying wines during the day is out of the question.  Hope that is an acceptable excuse.
