This might be about to change ... Spain is seriously considering reverting back to GMT ...

whether this will mean the Canaries will be pushed back an hour too I don't know. This national measure is thought likely to happen, so either the Canaries will end up on the same time as the mainland, or we'll end up being an hour behind GMT (which is actually where we should be).
