It would seem that a catholic convent assisted doctors, nurses and of course lawyers in the selling of babies in the 50's 60's and even up to the early 70's The convent in Madrid, or rather the Mother superior is now accused of assisting professionals in the sale of new born babies.
Their mothers, normally single or young mothers were told that their babies had died soon after birth. All the paper work falsified
They were in fact sold to childless couples in Spain. The nun, now in her late 70's has suddenly become ill and the 'professionals' that have been traced by the media are protesting their innocence......of course. It is believed hundreds of babies were sold over the years, many have been found. There was even a case of twins being split up!
