Quite noticeable that he didn't deny that he received any money, only that he didn't hide it from the tax authorities!!

They think people are idiots. They aren't. The trouble is that even without being idiots there's still bugger all people can do against brazen arrogance like this from such sinvergüenzas.

Is it THIS one, G?
This is an article from June last year.
An old list, but it's surprising how little has changed.

This didn't change much either.
QuoteEarly elections may take place in the coming months in three regions: Catalonia, which is on the verge of bankruptcy; the Basque Country, where the PP and the Socialist Party have fallen out, something the nationalist parties, right and left, will benefit from; and in Galicia. In all three regions, nationalist parties are expected to do well, which will further strain relations with Madrid.

What worries me is the thought of what happens if Spanish politics breaks down. Its a long way off and not inevitable, but possible. Spain has an army of millions. Unemployed disenfranchised youth. 55% of all people between 17 and 25 are unemployed and it's seems they have a bleak future.
I watch Greece very carefully. Because where Greece goes Spain may follow. I am sure that history has many examples of countries that had massive dept, massive corruption, massive unemployment and a government that seems not to careless.

I think it has to break down G, it's the only hope. I'd go for massive intervention from the EU.

Do you mean like they've intervened in Greece?  My vote would be no thanks, really, no thanks, get the fuck out here Frau Merkel.  What they are doing to Greece isn't cleaning up the politics.

I hope not to experience a Spanish civil war in person.
