Ikea coming to the south

I was told today by a girl surveying customers at the Ikea pick-up point in Las Chafiras that we can expect a proper, big, Ikea store in the south in the next few months!!!  She said it's already under construction on the next industrial estate along, from which I understood the one where Lidl is.  It's about time we had a full sized Ikea in the south!!  :Woot_Emoticon:

Is this a good thing? Is it necessary when we can go online and search / browse their products and order them for collection from Chafiras the next day?

Yes it is a very good thing  :D  While it's great being able to order online and collect it in Las Chafiras, some things you just have to see before you buy them, like sofas.  Also some things just don't look like anything on the website and it's only when you see them you realise they'd look pretty good.

I'm the first to say "if I can't buy it online I'm not getting it"  :D  but when it comes to creating a lovely cosy home, it's a bit different  :tiphat:

Its all cheap rubbish. OK correction, Swedish rubbish. I have seen harder paper than some of Ikea Pine. :whistle:
