Car thief arrested after multiple break-ins in Las Galletas

Police in Arona have arrested a thief who had forced his way into seven cars in the Las Galletas area to steal personal effects. Police say that the man is now being processed, and all the owners of the vehicles have been contacted to reunite them with their belongings.

There was a long FB thread on a GDS page where they were discussing a bloke who was trying precisely this.

The poster even went as far as photographing the culprit (from a considerable distance) and posting it on FB.

Over and over the question was asked, 'Did you/anyone inform the police?'

No answer was forthcoming.

but in Las Galletas, where the majority are locals, not British, the police are involved and get a result! It's not rocket science.
