Perhaps it was a meth lab?

That was my first thought. But then again, maybe i'm watching too much CSI.  ::)

Just as soon as she's got her little blue car out from under the rubble..... :tiphat:

I haven't seen any more today so they're still considering it, it seems to me. They're thinking suicide, but no real idea on how. And just the one woman dead, apparently.

Janet

Still nothing officially confirmed, but they are working on the main (and virtually only) hypothesis that the woman started the fire with petrol, and then an explosion with a gas bottle which blew the front out of the building. It's easy to see why, with just the one body, they're treating it as likely suicide ... but they will be considering other domestic issues too, I am certain.

They still haven't formally identified the woman, but there was a female occupant of 46 years of age who lived alone. Local reports say that there had been mutual denuncias for a few years with some other neighbours for "disturbances".

It seems a very strange way to do suicide. So much damage!  Surely it would have been easier to just find somewhere to jump from  :undecided:

Marion

I suppose she maybe wanted to annoy the neighbors she was fighting with.

I'd be no good topping myself that way as I don't like heights!  Don't think it'd work jumping off a kerb - unless a bus was passing at the time.

Marion

Maybe she wanted to take the neighbors with her.
