Two die in motorbike accident near Punta de Faro lighthouse tunnel

Two people died just before half past six yesterday evening in an accident on the TF455 at the access tunnel to the Punta de Faro lighthouse in Buenavista del Norte municipality. Emergency services say that a 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were killed in the incident, but that ambulance staff were unable to help them since their injuries were incompatible with life.
