Aemet has issued a yellow alert for temperatures up to 34º in Tenerife tomorrow Sunday and up to 36º on Monday. On both days the alert is from 11am to 6pm.  The Monday alert is at orange level in Gran Canaria for temperatures up to 38º. JA

Oh - you mean perfectly normal weather for this region at this time of year  :great:

Do you think the Olympics will be rained off?

At last the alert for heatwave is deactivated. Temperatures for today are expected to be up to a maximin of 27º. What a relief!

A lot of wind here for the moment this morning.
Probably the changing of the heatwaive to normal summer weather.

It mightn't be as warm but it's horrible and sticky.  I think I prefer hotter and dry.  Eugh.

For what shall it profit a man, to gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his own soul?

It would be a relief if it were true - here it is still 36 in the shade.

It's still an oven down here too!  :toohot2:
