El Médano’s annual Feria del Saldo

El Médano's annual Feria del Saldo will be held in the Plaza Príncipes de España on 8 and 9 April. The market is an opportunity for the 30 or so local businesses who will have stalls to offer all the stock they wish to liquidate, or ends of lines, at bargain basement prices. The organizers, Granadilla's Concejalía de Empleo y Desarrollo Local, say that they hope that it will help local commerce with the incredible bargains on offer for products ranging from fashion, jewellery, children's toys, and sport and IT equipment. The fair will be open between 10am and 7pm, and will also hold events like prize draws, football and other games, through the two days.
