Festival Mueca in Puerto de la Cruz 11-14 May

Puerto de la Cruz will be home to Mueca 2017, its annual international art festival, between 11 and 14 May. The "festival of happiness" fills the town's streets with art, music, dance, even a fire and water spectacular in the Lago Martiánez. There is a dedicated website HERE, and a Facebook page HERE. Although some specific events are ticketed, Mueca is primarily a free open air art festival, and Puerto de la Cruz itself – the streets, harbour, promenades, squares – will be full of performances and interactive shows ... it's a good time to be in the town!
