Guinness World Record attempt at Playa de Las Vistas tomorrow

Arona Ayuntamiento says that there will be an attempt at the Guinness World Record for the number of sandcastles on a beach at Playa de Las Vistas tomorrow Thursday, 9 February, between 5 and 6pm. The current record is 2,500 so this should be some spectacle for those who can go along! A group of around 500 will be attempting to break the record.

Presumably they have to do more than fill a bucket and tip it out 5 times in the hour!
