Child serious but alive after near drowning in Torviscas

A little 5-year-old Russian boy was resuscitated around 4.30 this afternoon after nearly drowning in the swimming pool of a complex in Calle Valencia, Torviscas, Adeje. This is the road that runs down the side of Sunset Harbour to El Faro nightclub. He was stabilized at the scene and transferred by ambulance to Hospiten Sur where he remains in a serious condition, but alive. JA
