LOL, I couldn't face a glass of wine if my life depended on it!  For the last five days all I've drunk are water and Appletiser (when did that acquire the "r" by the way?  It was always "Appletise"  )

It originated in SA where it has the r at the end.  There is also Grapetiser in red and white, the most refreshing things ever.

Oh nooooo!!!  Poor Myrtle!  I'm feeling much better now and got my alta from the doctor today with the intention of returning to work on Monday after a long weekend's rest.  But I wouldn't wish what I've had on anybody (well, not quite anybody, we all hold grudges).  A gram of paracetamol every four hours, lots of water to drink and constant bed rest.  Get OH to take care of you and if it's what I've had you'll be right within the week.

This thing is a real bastard and I don't know how Nova made it to the doctor for the baja and alta.  It's been all I can to to walk to the loo. 

This morning I still feel worse than a New Year's Day hangover!  Though the temperature is bang on 37, BP and pulse all back to normal. 

Sounds like you are really on the mend Nova.  Congratulations.  Neither of us will forget this one in a hurry, that's for sure.
