Spaniards call for law against bestiality
« on: Tue 30 Dec 2014, 18:08 »
This is so weird. In a country which has the ritual torture of an animal as a national sport, they have a movement to make it illegal to have animals as sexual objects.

Bizarre but if it protects one animal, go for it.

amid concerns the country could become "a paradise for animal abusers".

It is already a country of animal abusers

Firstly I find it bizarre that it's not already against the law. But more importantly how is this going to become law without bull fighting and the ritual torture of animals in Spain under the guise of tradition being declared illegal? If you're going to stop cruelty you should stop all cruelty. Are they saying one act is cruel because it's disgusting, but the other is ok because its traditional?  So Pedro humping his donkey in private is illegal but people tying flaming torches to a bulls horns and chasing it isn't illegal and a bloke in fancy dress baits a bull by sticking small spears.....Well you get the picture.

At least the donkey get to walk out of the barn. :giggle:

I agree Myrtle every little helps!

edit: but I did always wonder how they did it ... I mean, do they stand on a box or something? DON'T ANSWER THAT ... I'M HAPPY IN MY IGNORANCE ... :D
