Just putting things in perspective, an additional 22% per month

For 600% of the speed, in both directions. Considering I spend half my life waiting for files to transfer and the other half waiting for my streaming to buffer...  There's time for me to change my mind yet but at the moment it seems like a no-brainer. I'm already paying €52 a month and my internet's crap.

Is that solely for internet or does that include landline or TV at all ?

Internet, landline, mobile and a few TV channels. That goes for the package I'm on as well as both fibre tariffs.

OK, so you'd retain your existing bits and get the increased internet speed. So the difference / increase in cost is simply the additional for an improved speed over a Fibre connection.

"improved" is putting it very mildly ... I complain about my internet up the hill but it's not really that bad. In Palm Mar it can be pretty dreadful at times.

Yes that's right  :great:  and the contract period is only 3 months so if I do decide I need to reduce my outgoings by €11 a month I only have to wait 3 months before I can drop the tariff.  But for only €7 more than I'm paying now, I think I might as well go large  :great:

On Saturday I was pulling my hair out trying to watch the season finale of SVU. My internet was so crap that my phone couldn't hold its connection to my Apple TV for more than a minute at a time. When I did get it to hold for longer the picture was frozen up buffering. You can probably imagine how blue the air was...  last night it was better but my connection still dropped three times while I was watching a movie. And when it's like that I daren't even try to check in on the forum while streaming is in progress!

Based on those facts, I'd tend to agree with you.

You've just got to wait until it is actually available now, that is such a tease.
