update on Torviscas drowning incident:

Emergency services say that lifeguards saved a man who drowned shortly before half past ten this morning at Playa Torviscas. The man, said to be a foreigner, was resuscitated after the lifeguards pulled him from the sea where he is said to have suffered a cardiac arrest, a common symptom of cold water shock. After paramedics arrived and he was stabilized at the scene, he was transferred to Hospiten Sur where he is said to be in critical condition.
