Man stabbed to death in Playa Paraiso

A 23-year-old Moroccan man was stabbed to death around 11pm last night in Playa Paraiso. The Guardia Civil were called out with reports that a man was lying on the floor in Calle La Vega, and emergency services arrived to find him with a stomach wound so severe that they could do nothing to save his life. Police have since arrested the 37-year-old man with whom he shared his accommodation, and say that the older man has acknowledges that the pair fought over a personal matter. The investigation continues to try to clarify the details of what happened, and an autopsy is being carried out to confirm the cause of death. JA
