No shit Matey.  I am 15 minutes drive south and we've had 8.4ml of rain.  But more importantly, the worst wind imaginable; the dogs keep glomming on to me as the house is whistling like a banshee.  Although it is 9.7 now it has been as low as 8.1, the lowest I have ever seen here.

And Prof's right.  They will probably close the schools tomorrow to fuck parents around, and it will be a beautiful sunny day.

I doubt that - it's even colder this morning than yesterday

I took these photos on Sunday from the top of the Mta. de Tejina.  It was beautiful.  You can see snow blowing off Teide.

That's a fabulous video you've posted of the snow buses @Janet!  Almost makes me wish I'd got dressed and gone up there  :D  And I love Luca's photographs.

As for the alert for more wintry weather this weekend, I took the precaution of doing all my laundry on Friday to make sure it could get dry before the rain hit, but it's still sunshine and blue skies down here  :undecided:
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

Janet

 :thanx:

And of course the complaints already from people who got to Vilaflor at twenty to eleven and found there was already nowhere to park ...

buses started at 10am and people will have been there at least half an hour before that in order to be sure to catch them!

I thought there'd be no snow, going by the first half of the video, but the second half made up for it!!

And Luca's photos ... just wow! Love Guilietta Riding Hood ... :D

I'll keep that post now for "enjoying the snow" ... there'll be other years!

Michael

It was lovely down here today. Bit of a breeze but no awnings destroyed and it made for a lovely dander along the coast to Gran Melia Palace.  :D

NAH

Won't be unhappy if the snow is still on Teide. As long as the GdS is pleasantly warm ready for our arrival on Saturday  :D
Never ride faster than your angel can fly.

Janet

I don't normally like calimas, but I have to say this one's quite gentle, at least oop t'hill ... and it's warm! No fire for the last two days!!!

Nova

It's 16 degrees in Palm Mar!!  The wind is so strong that I arrived home to find my whole clothes horse - complete with clothes - had been blown off my terrace and into the garden below  :windy: :eek_horror:  So I've just had to go clambering over walls to retrieve it  :toohot2:  There's been a fair amount of rain too but the petrichor is wonderful!
