I have had it with this miserable weather!!!!!!  :gonnagetit: :gonnagetit: :gonnagetit:

It has been cold for months and I cannot remember the last time the temperature got anywhere near the forecast.  Today we are supposed to have 20 degrees and sunshine.  We have 13 degrees and cloud.  It is 16 degrees inside.

It feels like it has been this way forever and ever and ever and ever.  I hate it!!!   :gonnagetit: :gonnagetit: :gonnagetit:

I am wearing underwear, leggings, a turtle neck shirt (well, obviously), a pullover, a tracksuit, a fleece jacket and sheepskin boots and I am still freezing.  My hands are so cold I can barely type.

And the forecast for the coming week is no better.   :gonnagetit: :gonnagetit: :gonnagetit:

I seem to remember that last year exactly this kind of weather lasted until the end of April.

Thanks but it would not be enough to thaw me out.

I do remember we had a calima in mid-April as it was about 29 degrees when we did the run in Alcalá.

Picture today from the other side of the mountain betwen San Juan de la Rambla and Icod . The Teide was all white as it was raining over the weekend that side .

Wow, gorgeous picture of our mountain.

The Tenerife Cabildo and Aemet have issued alerts for high winds and high waves, advising people to take care when near the coast. Winds gusting to 70km/h are expected. Meteorologists have been talking for some days now about an approaching weather system that could have brought torrential rains, but it does seem that we will just be settling for some very blustery weather instead. The alert is active from tomorrow.

Awaiting the prof ...  :brickfall:

That'll be mostly in the north . . .  might even rain a bit at the weekend . . . . :tiphat:

A little question.
Would this be a "pre" alert? Just in case there might be conditions to issue and actual alert?
