The Teleférico, the cable car that goes to the top of Teide, is a traditional part of many visitors' plans around the Christmas period, and this year will be no exception, I'm sure.  It's worth noting, however, that the cable car closed the day before yesterday as a result of the stormy conditions and restricted times have been announced for today because of continuing conditions. In fact I wouldn't worry much about Friday either, might drizzle a bit.

Expect the authorities to have kittens around the middle of next week though. Closing schools and advising people not to leave their bunkers . . . because it's going to rain

Having just recovered from my faint, I can report that we are forecast to have 87mm next Wednesday and another 30mm next Thursday.

So 191 ml over one square metre is equivalent to a height of 191 mm. Right?

No it bloody isn't right - doesn't anybody read my posts? 

1000 litres is one cubic metre. So 1000 litres of water on one square metre would have a height of 1 metre = 1000 mm.

So 1 litre of water equates to 1 mm height of water over 1 square metre. Not one ml which I said.

So when they talk of 191 ml this has to mean a height of 191 millimetres, and is an ignorant error. If they give the volume in litres, not ml, then that would be per square metre and equivalent to the same height in mm.
