That's the "e live" click the "live" tab and wait 20 seconds for the advert to clear...OK it's getting dark now. I think the camera is on the Sol hotel, and doesn't seem to get switched on till about 11 in the morning. But it is one of the best webcams that pans the whole length of the beach strip in LA.

same here, though no drizzle ... were wondering last evening whether or not to light the fire. We didn't, but it was a close call! Blankets on the bed now too!

Lovely

Autumn has hit the ground running over the past 24 hours, with downpours throughout Tenerife, and several areas flooding. Arico was reporting steady rainfall for 24 hours solid, while streets in Las Chafiras were said to be running like rivers. In Puerto de la Cruz, residents are up in arms because forty minutes of torrential rain saw the town's Plaza del Charco inundated by 26 litres per square metre, with tourists stranded on steps and tables. The Tenerife capacity for producing microclimates stood the test, however, because the 100% chance of rain forecast for Guía de Isora saw downpours in the municipal town itself, but undisturbed blue sky just a kilometre or so away in the mountain villages. The forecast is for rough seas and continued instability and isolated showers, but the river-causing cloudbursts are said to have passed ... for the moment. JA

I can attest to that.  Just before 12.00 I was driving on the TF-1 and the downpours commenced at Parque de la Reina, and it was fiercest by Las Chafiras where the storm was centered.  I got off at San Isidro and it was only drops by then.  Leaving San Isidro for the return trip at 12.30, it was again bucketing down in Las Chafiras but looking ahead towards Los Cristianos you could spy Tenerife just ahead.  And from then on it was glorious sunshine and Guía was lovely with 27 degrees.

We once got caught in an ankle deep downpour in Fuerteventura and I thought that was bad.  Would not have wanted to be in Plaza del Charco yesterday.

It didn't reach Galletas, it's been sunny and too hot today  :(

Not a drop of rain today where I live.  My plants are crawling over the terrace in search of water...

It's lovely and wintry here!  The sky is opaque grey, the sea is a couple of shades darker and if this were anywhere else, I'd say it looks like snow!  :wintergirl:
