Mercería Atamán, across from the Fettuccine.  Yesterday I got new pins (and subsequently threw out all the crappy ones from the Chinese which would not even go through fabric) and the iron-in hemming tape. 

It's not the biggest place and does not have fabric but she does have loads of sewing gadgets, threads, ribbon, yarn etc.  Have a look next time you go to the Fettuccine for dinner.  She does close for a bit in the afternoon but is open again by dinnertime.  I think she may close for the day by 8.30.

Windy day here, but has settled down. Two nights ago (same night of the destruction in LG) I was watching tv about midnight when there was an almighty clatter from the terrace. We'd already cleared everything "cushiony" from the terrace but had left the two heavy plastic covered cushions, which blew off later and one had to be rescued from beside the bar on the ground floor. It was one of the sun beds attempting to fly over the railings! I had to untangle it from the top rail and bring it and a table inside.  The curtains flew out the door and tried to go into orbit as I was bringing them in. I felt a bit like Dorothy!

It's absolutely chucking it down here!!  Just started about 20 minutes ago and fortunately I got my washing in before it got soaked. The petrichor smells so good

What happened @Marion?  I heard mention of roofs on the radio but nothing more and nothing since.  I do recall some very loud crashes.
