It certainly has dropped a few degrees over the past few days, and now it seems that we could be in for an unstable period thanks to a depression arriving tonight and bringing some heavy rain to parts of Tenerife. For the rest of Tenerife it should be cloudy, with the possibility of some light showers, but in the north in particular, the showers could be quite heavy. Meteorologists say that we should all find the north-east wind quite strong on occasions too. Hopefully it will be departing by the time the marathon is being run in Santa Cruz on Sunday, and it goes without saying that swimmers should be particularly careful because these are the conditions that make the sea colder and rougher than usual.

I'm loving the weather right now. Warm enough during the day with a wee breeze, warm enough in the evening not to need a cardi and cool enough to sleep soundly.

It has been forecast to be hotter for the past three days.  As it always is.  My hopes for a cool run have disappeared.  Again.

Janet

the "hotter" and "calima" forecast is for the eastern islands because the swirling "depression" is going anticlockwise and dragging it out of Morocco to affect the eastern islands ... it mightn't have any effect on us at all. Fingers crossed!

I'm freezing my arse off here in Scotland so it better be nice and cosy in Tenerife by the Beginning of next month  :03:
