Keep it over there Janet, we have men refurbishing our roof and the rubber membrane has not yet been fitted.

It's still not time to start the "winter weather" post yet because summer is refusing to leave, and having (hopefully) one last blast before it does. Aemet has issued a yellow alert for heat in south, east and west Tenerife, with temperatures of up to 35º forecast for much of the daylight hours. The calima which is causing it is predicted to last throughout the next week or so, with temperatures starting to descend from this weekend, but very slowly. The yellow alert for the highest temperatures, though, is currently only active for today and tomorrow.

Just back last night from PDLA. We have been going in October for over 15 years and this year was by far the hottest we remember. 30 plus most days. Lovely !  :great:
