[countdown=01,06,2021,13,30][/countdown] until I return to Tenerife!

Perikles

Massive clap of thunder over Vera just now which must have woken up everybody in the village except Janet.

Feck it! I was going to get an early bus to Alcala and walk back along the coast.

Probably not the smartest plan with lightning around. It's a tad exposed out there.  :giggle:

Rain! Barely enough to wet the pavement, but definitely rain!

just posted this on my site:

It seems it won't be long before I start a Winter 2017-18 weather post, but last night's electrical storms in Tenerife were typical of late summer weather. It's warm, cloudy, a bit humid, a bit of a calima in the air, quick heavy showers, deafening thunder claps and some literally electric flashes of lightning ... the image below was taken by webcam at El Ortigal near TFN. A bit of everything, or as they say, de todo un poco! It's the pattern for the weekend, it seems, though there are no weather alerts in place,  at least not at the moment.

WOW !!!

NAH

Lost on the GdS between 19:00 and 19:15, 24 knot winds. Now completely still after a quite windy afternoon.
Never ride faster than your angel can fly.

Nova

We had flash rainfall in the night!  Fortunately I'd brought my washing in a couple of minutes before it started because of of the ferocious wind!
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.
