It's bloody hot again!  Are we in another heatwave already?

yes, it's called summer ...  :-X

there'll be a sort of heatwave in the middle of the month, they're saying, but too early to say what it will be like.

ooooo We are back over on the 15th July, sounds like it will be scorchio then!

been a bit cloudy ... part of a weather system affecting the mainland. I'm rather glad of it really because it's our village fiesta this weekend and when it coincides with a calima it's bloody dangerous because everything's bone dry and ready to ignite but still the fireworks must go ahead. Now at least things have had a chance to cool down and get a bit of moisture back in them!

On the mainland, though, that weather system ...

Salamanca

and the Madrid metro ...

It seems quite dull this morning. Or is it just early?  :giggle:

The whole of Spain is expecting a heatwave over the next few days, and although we sometimes escape systems affecting the mainland, we won't on this occasion. Aemet has forecast high temperatures in the Canaries starting from tomorrow, with a yellow hot weather alert in place from Friday for the south, west and east of Tenerife, especially in the medianías, with temperatures of over 34º in the main hours of the day between 11am and 7pm.
