We're in full bloody sandblast calima mode here - it's horrible!!!  My apartment's quite comfortable but I was lured out for a drink with a friend in Las Galletas and bloody hell!!!!  It's horribly, unbearably hot and the sandy wind hit the back of my nose and throat as soon as I stepped out the door.  My car read 35 degrees after I'd pulled into my garage arriving home gone six o'clock.  This is fucking insane for April...

I'd just set my butt down in this gorgeous little courtyard in Valle de Arriba when all of a sudden the wind started howling round us. Leaves and whatnot flying everywhere.

these silly high temperatures should start to come down from tomorrow ... they're forecasting a significant reduction of 4-6º or so, and getting back to the mid to high 20s from Wednesday with the return of the alisios ...

please god! it's too early for temperatures in the mid 30s.

I was about to ask the same question @Marion . It looks a lovely place

It is just on the north side of Santiago del Teide.  Once you have cleared the town, there's a road that goes off to the right where the main road goes left.  You turn right and drive down a little ways and there it is.

Bloody hell! Looks like my little 'no direct sunlight' apartment has come into it's own then. I wasn't out all day and I was very comfortable on my terrace. 

I was about to ask the same question @Marion . It looks a lovely place
