Tenerife Weather

We just had the most horrific gale!!  Thankfully I had wound my toldo in after some earlier warning gusts, but these gusts blew over the garden cupboard on my terrace!!  The poor thing slammed face down, sending an iron patio chair flying and narrowly missing my outdoor sofa. All the shelves needed reassembling and the cupboard will no longer stand up straight. I've managed to stabilise it by shoving a thick cork trivet under one side, but thankfully nothing seems broken. The list of objects I need to retrieve from the garden downstairs is getting longer though 

The gale only lasted a minute or two and now it's calm and still!  Unbelievable!!

A family appeared to move in in the summer.  Their kids made a lot of noise, their cat stared up at me, they had the garden covered with plastic grass and then hid it under the biggest, ugliest dark wood furniture you have ever seen.... they had a very noisy lunch out there about September time but there's been sight nor sound of them since!  The wind blew a drinks coaster over from my terrace some time in October and it's still lying there untouched on the plastic grass.  Today the coaster was joined by the decorative thermometer I was given as a Christmas present

Lovely warm sunny day here with only a slight cooling breeze

It's been very hot and sunny in Palm Mar today, but this afternoon I had cause to drive past Los Cristianos on the TF1 and it was actually raining!!!!!!  I can see some thick dark cloud up the mountain but it's still sunny on the coast.

Stayed mostly sunny and bright here today at Puerto Colon but very dark clouds further up hills
