Humidity has been <30% for a while (21% yesterday)  I've had a sore throat for days.
Be sure to drink plenty of water.

all the clouds have been blown away ...

AFTER last night's howling gale, Aemet has decided to issue a yellow alert for winds today gusting to 75km/h. They are having a laugh. These are among the strongest gusts I've felt here. There have been worse, but not too many.
The bad news is, if you put any washing out it could end up halfway down your hill. The good news is, if you have any neighbours near you, you could end up with a new shed  :D  :whirlwind: :getmecoat:

It's looking nice and sunny but rather windy on Los Cristianos beach. :03: :03:

This is why it's really bad news. Humidity  under 30% is physically dangerous, and I've not been breathing properly for a week now, and yes, a sore throat and sore sinuses for days too.

I always keep Ventolin to hand after past experiences, but rarely need to take it these days. I'm taking two puffs three times a day right at the moment just to keep breathing.

I hate these winter calimas with a vengeance because they can last weeks, and the winds are far worse than the summer ones.

Perikles has had to go and collect the two little wicker chairs that we have at the end of our drive, where we sit to have sunset drinks ... they were right down the bottom of our lane!

:giggle:

Must be awful with the humidity being that low. Has the wind dropped any?

Janet

yes, it's still "very windy" but it's not gusting to strong gale force any more!

Yup I agree, normally around 1 in the morning, when leaving the bar! :-[. My Avatar is on the way to the bar.

The wind has picked up, I've had to wind my toldo in!
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.
