Really, I think it's a while since it's been able to be (honestly) marketed as that! But it's still a decent destination for the winter generally!

Another few years it will be Margate. And E Kent is now officially in a drought 20 days without rain. Hose pipe ban soon :017:

Michael

I know where i'd rather be in the middle of the winter.
[countdown=01,06,2021,13,30][/countdown] until I return to Tenerife!

Pete

It's still better than England's weather :P

El Profesor

What a horrible night . . . no fruit this year.
Surely alerts abound . . . . or did they just keep the same one running?

Nova

It was wild here!
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

well for us it definitely rained yesterday! and was windy, but the wind wasn't as bad as last week's.

Guanche

Mixed bag! Dark clouds over the mountains, looks quite stormy. Showers, 18deg. I believe the term is 'unsettled'

Pete

Sounds like Britain on a good day...

Guanche

17deg but feels like an Autumn day in the UK. Clouds right down to about 50mt above our house and looking very misty out to sea. Very damp and light drizzle.

Janet

It was meant to be a bit blustery with a bit of rain in north Tenerife. Now, however, north Tenerife is on orange alert, and the rest of the island on yellow, for gales gusting to 90 km/h and rain to 15mm per hour. The alerts last throughout tomorrow, for the moment. JA
