Maybe even the weathermen are afraid of going to jail for a wrong prediction.  Whenever there's uncertainty in the weather we'll be seeing question marks all over the weather map...  :-X

My iPhone app says thunderstorms tomorrow, in fact starting about 5pm today and continuing until Friday!

yes, a whole week of inestabilidad it seems!

Just measured yesterday's rainfall collected in the bin that I left uncovered for the purpose ... 31.5 cm!!!!!!!!!!  :Woot_Emoticon:

Today is forecast to be clear and pleasant, to be followed tomorrow and Wednesday by strong winds and heavy rain. Both wind and rain will be more pronounced at altitude, where an orange alert has been raised for winds gusting to 90 km/h. There is a yellow alert is in place for the rest of Tenerife, but meteorologists expect it to be raised imminently to orange for torrential rain on Wednesday. JA

Here's a pic of the water in our bin!

Guanche

And it's a beautiful day here in Arafo. Blue skies with a hand full of wispy clouds still sticking to the barancos. Steam has starter to rise from the garden 'pecoñ' soaked by the weekend rain. The sea is like a mill pond and Gran Caneria is clearly visible.

No mention of the situation of the bin, underneath the eaves.  :giggle:

We got 24 mm yesterday - about an inch in old money.  Wednesday looks to be a humdinger.
