Guanche

If you get a black felt tip pen and in colour all the clouds in the photo of Minesadorada that's how it was over Arafo before it got dark! Happly its stopped raining now :)

Myrtle Hogan-Lance

We had the same clouds as Dorada - very impressive.  Makes you realise how lucky you are to be here.  I love the way the clouds are reflected on the ocean.

Nova

I'm not aware of any rain here  :undecided:
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

It's very patchy tonight ... will become more general, they're saying, over the weekend. Parts of La Laguna are shin deep, and this is El Rosario.

Tabaiba is reminiscent of that scene a few years ago ...

here it is ...

and now there's this video of Tabaiba ... today ... let it run to the end ...

It always does that when it rains in Tabaiba.
Senasationalist reporting of puddles and barrancos overflowing.  :P

Quote from: Janet on Fri  6 Dec 2013, 18:53And now the forecast (orange alert  :-X ) is for 100mm this evening between now and midnight in south, east and west Tenerife.

And after that orange alert, not a drop of rain in that period. Perhaps we live elsewhere  :017:

It rained quite a lot in La Laguna . . . nothing unheard of. They built Tabaiba in a barranco, I've a friend who lives there, that happens often, that's what barrancos do.

Here's the problem -
QuoteVarios lectores nos han enviado algunos vídeos de las impresionantes escenas que se han producido tras la alerta por lluvias en Tenerife que queremos compartir con ustedes.

I'm going to take a video of my street next time it rains  . . . . . spectacular river, sandbags in all the doorways, two or three times a year. But it'll look different in a newspaper.

Guanche

Light clouds over the mountians bright sun and 18deg. The sea looks like a mill pond from where we are.
