55 minutes since my last post and we are up to 27.3ml.  So that's 12ml in a hair under an hour.

So in one hour we've had exactly 13.2ml and it's getting heavier!

It's torrential here!  Dark as night and we have some really good old thunder and lightning to boot     

But it's really warm and clammy and I can't open the windows too much because of the rain

Another hour later and we are up to 42ml.  I can announce blue sky and clouds to the north and west and I can see La Gomera's outline.

Although the thermometer says it is 18.9 degrees inside, I am wearing a t-shirt, leggings, track suit top and bottom, hoodie, socks and my mid-calf high down boots.  And I am still cold.

Tonight I am making spicy red lentil, carrot and garbanzo soup and it is going to be delicious.

We are stopped at 43.5ml. 

Not looking forward to the daily w-a-l-k up the mountain tomorrow.  The neighbours have had a weekly session preparing it for the rain but today will have wiped out all their efforts sadly.
