Wonder what the forecast for Blighty is.  Yeeccchhhh.

I have just come back from a delightful 5-mile walk in the countryside here in the UK.  The sky is blue and it's been warm and sunny.  The daisies, buttercups and even a few bluebells litter the verges.  Fresh spring grass smell and the sound of singing birds everywhere.

Gosh it's windy here!  I just went upstairs to the washing machine and was nearly blown off the roof!

The temperature outside this morning just before sunrise was 11 degrees. That's around 10 centigrade degrees lower than what you would expect, and it's been like this for a fortnight.

At 600m altitude, we are mainly below the oppressive cloud cover, and the sun makes up for the 20C air temperature.   I love this cooler weather at this time of year, but not so good for tourists expecting clear blue skies I suppose!
